Port Washington, NY was the site of the premiere screening of In Good Time, The Piano Jazz of Marian McPartland on Ma
rch 19, 2011. This screening was for the film’s cast and crew and Marian’s family and friends. It was a glorious day and the screening was a big success. After over 4 years of work it certainly is gratifying to know that others, especially people who are close to Marian and myself, like the film.
Marian called me the next day and 
she was very happy and pleased with the film and the premiere. I think Elvis Costello said it best when he said to me after the screening that In Good Time has “heart and humor”. The film also has, of course, the wonderful music of Marian McPartland and features Marian’s own tunes.

The Maine premiere of In Good Time will be at the Maine International Film Festival at a date to be determined between July 15 – 24
The Portland, Maine premiere of In Good Time will be on October 13 at Hannaford Hall, Abromson Center, USM.
The DVD of In Good Time will be available in the summer. If you wish to reserve a DVD please reply indicating that with your name, contact info, and number of DVDs.
Currently I am finalizing the last of the archival film rights and music rights. This means I still need to pay for them before I can distribute In Good Time to the public.
